Natural patina finishes are not covered under warranty — patina development is by design and part of the product’s character.

Defined by its graceful vertical fluting, Forme N°28 is a dummy door lever that pairs an elongated oval backplate with a silhouette that recalls the quiet grandeur of an arched gateway. Rising from a circular motif at its base, the handle extends into a horizontally fluted grip that is an expressive interplay of geometry and tactility. Echoing the spirit of Art Deco, vertical fluting runs the length of the plate, guiding the eye in a soft, architectural rhythm. These finely carved grooves catch shifting light, enriching the geometric silhouette of this French artisan hardware with depth and movement.

Forme N°28 is crafted from solid, unlacquered brass using time-honoured techniques, combining elegant form, subtle irregularities, and tactile richness into a piece of stylish hardware. Exposed to touch and time, the raw brass slowly develops a soft patina that whispers of warmth, wear, and the gentle passage of hands over the years.

Offered in golden brass, dusky bronze, and satin nickel, these door handles bridge eras, complementing traditional and modern interiors. Suited to non-locking spaces such as shared living–dining zones and utility areas, this artisan door hardware embraces the subtle irregularities that bring handcrafted objects to life. We use brass for its longevity, resistance and inherent antimicrobial and self-decontaminating properties. It is suitable for humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time. It's part of our artistic process, each piece is unique.

Our Brass Alloy is 100% recycled. We recycle the brass connectors of gaz cylinder to melt our ingots. The composition of our brass is: copper  60.5% + zinc 38.5% + magnesium 0.1% + Nickel 0.09

Copper has a proved natural antibacterial property. For this reason it is perfect to be used in the kitchen or bathroom, our solid brass creations do not rust, no coating, living finish only.


FINISHES :

Natural Brass is a living finish that develops as the products age. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

Bronze finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Brownish Bronze. 

Satin Nickel is the type of plating or finish that is done on brass. We get the Satin nickel by using electrolysis technique.

Carbon Black finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens  the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Black finish.

WHAT IS A LIVING FINISH ?

Unlacquered product = Living finish that develops as the product ages. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

We consider the oxidation process due to climate and use to be a natural aging process of the patina, therefore we do not guarantee the patina finishes of the product. it's part of our artistic process, each piece is unique.
