Neri Oxman is an American-Israeli architect, scientist, and inventor known for pioneering material ecology, or a design philosophy that merges digital fabrication, biomaterials, and organic growth. She advocates shifting from material ownership to ecological harmony and leads OXMAN, a New York–based studio that is advancing with this vision.

Her research combines computational design, materials science, and synthetic biology to align built environments with nature.
