Mi&Gei is a design studio creating functional objects with an artistic presence.
We believe that the elements we touch within an interior should never be reduced to their technical purpose. A handle, a knob or a hook can carry the intention of a space, strengthen its atmosphere and create a lasting sensory impression.
Through sculptural brass pieces, we bring beauty, character and meaning to the smallest architectural details.
OUR VISION
Turning functional gestures into meaningful moments
Our ambition is to change the way architectural hardware is perceived.
Rather than treating hardware as an invisible finishing element, we approach each piece as applied art. An object designed to be used, but also to be noticed, touched and remembered.
Every Mi&Gei piece is conceived to support the language of an interior. It can bring rhythm to a cabinet, weight to a door, softness to a wall or an unexpected sculptural presence to a room.

THE FOUNDERS
A shared language of form, material and detail
Mi&Gei was founded by Amandine and Guillaume around a shared belief that useful objects can also carry artistic meaning.
Their complementary perspectives shape a creative process that moves continuously between intuition and precision, experimentation and function, expressive forms and architectural constraints.
Together, they develop pieces that feel singular without becoming ornamental, allowing each object to enter into dialogue with the space around it.
Mi&Gei is the expression of this shared creative language: sensitive, sculptural and grounded in use.
OUR APPROACH

Every piece begins with an idea, a gesture or an exploration of form.
The creative process is guided by movement, asymmetry, balance and the natural behaviour of the material. Shapes are developed freely, before being refined into functional objects that can be manufactured, installed and lived with.
This dialogue between artistic exploration and technical precision is at the heart of the studio.
The result is never a decorative object added to a function. It is a precise meeting point between use, form, material and meaning.
