HOW MUCH DOES THE SHIPMENT COST?

We offer free shipping worldwide with DHL Express for our BtoC customers. 

BtoB customers: 

1- Interior designer, builders, cabinet maker: Free shipping worldwide. 

2 - For retailers and stockists shipping charges as applicable depending on the destination with DHL Express. 

3 - We deliver to your doorstep, but customs duty charges to be paid by the consignee: GST, VAT, customs duty fees...

We ship worldwide with DHL Express free of charges. 


WHY DO WE USE BRASS FOR HARDWARE?

We use brass for its longevity, resistance and inherent antimicrobial and self-decontaminating properties. It is suitable for humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens.Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time. It's part of our artistic process, each piece is unique.


WHAT FINISHES ARE AVAILABLE?

Natural Brass is a living finish that develops as the products age. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

Bronze finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens  the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Brownish Bronze. 

Satin Nickel is the type of plating or finish that is done on brass. We get the Satin nickel by using electrolysis technique.


WHAT IS A LIVING FINISH?

Unlacquered product = Living finish that develops as the product ages. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

We consider the oxydation process due to climate and use to be a natural aging process of the patina, therefore we do not guarantee the patina finishes of the product. it's part of our artistic process, each piece is unique.

For each piece we provide the anchors and screws. The screws provided match each finish.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN AND CARE OUR PRODUCT?

Brass is naturally weather resistant and requires very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning brass hardware with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive or chemical-based cleaners, as they will abrade hardware surfaces. Allow to patinate over time or use a brass copper brightener or apply several coats of clear paste wax to protect the finish. Buff lightly with a clean, dry cloth. For care of polished finishes, we use a clean, non-abrasive polishing cloth.


WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

General Returns

You may return eligible products for a credit or refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and any applicable restocking fees within 14 days from receipt of your order. MIANDGEI requires returned merchandise to have prior written communication and a valid Return Authorization Number.

  1. Products must be in original, unused condition and packed in all original packaging and tags. 
  2. Original shipping and duties costs are non refundable.
  3. Shipping, duties, and taxes on returned or exchanged goods will be the customer’s responsibility.
  4. Re-shipping fee and re-stocking fee will vary on a per item basis.
  5. Goods received not in good condition will not be eligible for refund.
  6. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.  
  7. All items in the Door Hardware, Architectural Specialties category, Washbasins, Special Order, Lighting & Electrical, made to order, vintage, sale items and/ or customized order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

To return any part of your order:

  • Contact MIANDGEI within 14 days of receipt to obtain a Return Authorization Number
  • Repackage all the merchandise and various components in its original packaging including the receipt 
  • Make sure it is well packed
  • Insure items
  • Send the goods back to MIANDGEI within 14 days.

Cancellations

Cancellations of orders of items that have not shipped or that are on backorder will be accepted. Cancellation is not possible once an item has already shipped.

Special Order, made to order, vintage, and / or customized order items cannot be cancelled.

Defective Returns

If you have received defective or incorrect goods, please call us at +1(800)683-3052 within 3 days of order receipt and customer service will assist you with your return authorization form and replacement of your order. Please send an email to customerCARE@MIANDGEI.com prior to sending the items back.


WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE A DAMAGED, WRONG PRODUCTS OR ISSUES?

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective. You receive the wrong item, wrong size or defective, we exchange your piece, contact us at customercare@miandgei.com

North America door thickness from 1-3/4” to 2-3/4”

Australia door thickness from 35mm to 69mm

Most of our hardware starts accommodating at 1 3/4" thick.


DUTY TAX

We offer free shipping worldwide DAP to your door step but the customer/consignee pays the local customs taxes. VAT, TVA, GST is refundable for all BtoB professional customers.
