Crochets à serviettes de luxe

Luxury solid brass wall hooks turn a compact necessity into a small piece of wall sculpture. Shaped to hold towels, robes, coats and everyday objects with ease, MI&GEI hooks combine expressive silhouettes with a tactile, reassuring presence.

A hook asks for less wall than a bar and forgives a wet towel thrown at it, which is why it often works better than it looks on paper. In a bathroom, place a brass towel hook beside the sink and a robe hook within reach of the shower. In an entryway, a bedroom or a dressing room, the same form becomes a solid brass coat hook for coats, bags and everyday objects. In a kitchen, it holds a dish towel at the end of a run of cabinetry or beside the range. Where a long wall allows it, a towel bar keeps folded towels flatter.

These are decorative wall hooks in the literal sense: the form is the point, and the form is what the hand meets. Cast in solid brass and finished by hand, each brass wall hook connects naturally with the wider range of unique bathroom hardware and with the material palette of the room. Small variations in tone and surface give every hook an individual presence.

Unlacquered brass responds to steam, water and touch. It darkens in the quiet places and brightens where fingers pass, so a hook used every day looks different from one in a guest room. Nothing needs to be polished back. Across the collection, unlacquered brass is treated as a living material rather than a fixed color, while the five other signature finishes hold a steadier tone.
