Mi&Gei is the union of Amandine and Guillaume, a French couple driven by the desire to create objects that transcend function to become sensorial experiences.
Before founding Mi&Gei, Amandine spent 15 years in Paris working as a stylist in the interior design press, cultivating a refined eye for aesthetics and a deep connection to the world of decoration. Coming from a family that owned a hardware factory, she also inherited a strong attachment to craftsmanship and material expertise. Guillaume, son and grandson of artisans, carries within him a family tradition deeply rooted in manual work and creativity.
Together, they explore creation unbound by the traditional codes of design schools, thriving in a space of freedom where imperfection is embraced as a strength. Each creation reflects the duality of their process: masculine and feminine energies, raw experimentation and delicate refinement, stillness and motion.
Rooted in both French and Indian traditions, their work draws inspiration from craft legacies passed down through generations, while remaining resolutely contemporary.

Our creations are crafted from recycled brass – a noble alloy of copper and zinc, known since Antiquity, infinitely recyclable without losing its integrity. Each piece thus carries an eternal material reimagined with responsibility. To minimize our impact, we package our works in reusable cotton pouches and recycled paper boxes. Through this commitment, we ensure that our timeless creations respect both nature and future generations.

Weather Resistance and Corrosion Protection
Brass naturally resists oxidation and corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor applications and humid spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms. It retains its shine and strength with minimal maintenance.

Antimicrobial Properties

Unlacquered Brass (Living Finish)
Over time, unlacquered brass develops a natural patina when exposed to air, water, and daily use. This evolving surface is part of its beauty, giving each piece a unique character.

• To restore shine, you may use a soft cloth with a gentle brass cleaner.
• Always follow the instructions on the product. Some cleaners leave a protective coating that helps preserve the finish.

Lacquered Brass
If your brass hardware is lacquered, it will remain shiny over time.

• Simply dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the protective lacquer coating.
