Frechet style: a braided signature, richly decorative

Rooted in André Frechet style, this Art Deco solid brass pull focuses on ornament with restraint—where texture does the talking. The braided motif feels architectural and crafted, bringing a sense of rhythm to cabinet fronts and drawers. It’s the kind of detail you notice in close-up: refined, tactile, and unmistakably tied to early 20th-century decorative arts.

Cast solid brass, made for daily use

Made in cast solid brass, the pull has a natural depth and presence—subtle relief, softened edges, and a comfortable grip. As light moves across the surface, the braid reads as pattern rather than shine: a decorative note that holds its own on both painted cabinetry and natural wood.

Care

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh chemicals to preserve the finish.

BRASS :

We use brass for its longevity, resistance and inherent antimicrobial and self-decontaminating properties. It is suitable for humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time. It's part of our artistic process, each piece is unique.

Our Brass Alloy is 100% recycled. We recycle the brass connectors of gaz cylinder to melt our ingots. The composition of our brass is: copper  60.5% + zinc 38.5% + magnesium 0.1% + Nickel 0.09

Copper has a proved natural antibacterial property. For this reason it is perfect to be used in the kitchen or bathroom, our solid brass creations do not rust, no coating, living finish only.


FINISHES :

Natural Brass is a living finish that develops as the products age. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

Bronze finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Brownish Bronze. 

Satin Nickel is the type of plating or finish that is done on brass. We get the Satin nickel by using electrolysis technique.

Carbon Black finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens  the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Black finish.

WHAT IS A LIVING FINISH ?

Unlacquered product = Living finish that develops as the product ages. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

We consider the oxidation process due to climate and use to be a natural aging process of the patina, therefore we do not guarantee the patina finishes of the product. it's part of our artistic process, each piece is unique.
